Quote of the Day

"I have missed more than 9,000 shots in my career. I have lost almost 300 games. On 26 occasions I have been entrusted to take the game winning shot...and I missed. I have failed over and over and over again in my life. And that's precisely why I succeed."

~ Michael Jordan

DTN Weather Summary
Central U.S. Mostly Dry Monday
Bryce Anderson (Bio) – DTN Meteorologist

Mostly dry weather throughout the central U.S. on Monday as high pressure dominates. This dry weather follows a significant rain/snow event in the Southern Plains late last week, which will improve soil moisture for the winter wheat crop. Rains of 0.30-1.50 inches in the major soybean areas of Argentina and southern Brazil over the weekend will benefit the pod-filling crop. Significant hot/dry weather this growing season has affected corn and soybean production in South America. » More DTN Weather Commentary
